Each Sunday evening from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, the PEI Bluegrass & Old Time Music Group meets at Murphy’s Community Centre for a jam session. Newcomers are welcome to come and sit in or to bring and instrument and share their talent with the group.

CWL card parties run on Sunday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:30pm at Murphy’s Community Centre. The game is Auction 45’s, and the play is 14 tables. The cost is $2.00, and a light lunch will be served. Everyone is welcome.

CHANCES Family Centre will be hosting a series of parenting workshops at Murphy’s Community Centre on Tuesday mornings from 9:15 to 11:45 starting May 20 and going to June 10. The topic will be HOW TO TALK SO KIDS WILL LISTEN & LISTEN SO KIDS WILL TALK. There will be childcare provided, and all workshops are free of charge. To register, call 367-6744.
